I had immaculate and neat room complete with 2 chairs at the benchtop, kettle, for instance. A microwave oven, an electric kettle, and fridges were a plus. Had very central location to attend a concert at a nearby vineyard...

This is an unpretentious country motel. I thought it was really cute with its brick wall and the brown tiles in the bathroom, straight out of the 70'S. So, it was cute in a retro way. I heard no noise from the other rooms and it was pretty booked out. Quietness is a big deal to me. It was central to everything in Cessnock and on the way to the Wineries. Its not fancy but everything worked - the telly worked perfectly and once the hot water got there the shower was great. It was freezing but there was plenty of bedding and aircon and I was warm. It was good to have a toaster so I could have brekky in bed. I liked it and would go there again. It doesn't pretend to be anything other than what it is - it was non-fancy, not up itself and pretty well what you need if you want a comfy bed with no frills.

Rooms were brand-new and spotless!
You guys made our stay really really nice. Staff were attentive and the hotel was reliable, it had perfect location to a town Centre. We liked rooms with 3 beds. Overall the service was good. Location : the property was just next door to shops, pubs and clubs, the Hunter Valley wineries and gardens, and fast food outlets. Also, Oaks Golf Course was 1 mile away;))
